American Aircraft for the RAF (and others!)

Just a heads up 'to those who may be interested' that in response to the recent Arma Hobby P-39/P-400  kits in 1/72 and 1/48 scales posting has begun again at this blog after a long absence. A series of planned P-39/P-400 articles have long been in abeyance but there is much collected data to share, including on colours which have been badly served in recent publications and products. The last blog post was in November 2022. It's a membership only blog but I suspect most members have gradually abandoned it.

Hi Nick, is the block accepting new members? I would definitively be interested in learning more about the RAF and would happily read your posts if you'll have me. Cheers!

This is wonderful news. I went and logged in with my credentials and it lives. Thank you Nick!

*Ahem* Some of us have never abandoned it, we just keep mining the older posts for new insights. I found your book reviews and recommendations also quite helpful. Thank you for keeping it up all this time, Nick. I look forward to the P-39 information.

Yes, indeed AAftRAF is a veritable font of valuable information that I, and I assume many others continue to use for various reasons.

With gratitude to Nick.

I lost the address, and am glad it's been resurrected so to speak. I'm very interested!!!!

That's wonderful news Nick! I actually checked it a couple of weeks ago, definitely not abandoned it. It's a marvellous resource! Thank you for picking it up again. With Eduard also releasing a new 1/48 P-40 series next year, I think things will pick up quickly.

Hi Nick,

Is there any chance of getting an invitation again? You sent me one on 26.04.2014, but something went wrong and I can't see the AAftRAF content, even when I'm logged into Blogger now.

Best regards,

Piotr

OK, I tried going there, but I was blocked.

How do I get an invite? Looks to be a great and informative site.

WD - Drop me an email and I'll send you an invitation.

Mike D - I tried to reply but your server rejected my email. I've sent you an invitation via Google but I suspect that might also be rejected.

Nick, email sent for an invite. I'm looking forward to it since I have a few Arma Hobby P-400's I want to build.

WD have not received any email from you. Did you send it to an old address? Use sidebar link. Without your email I can't invite you!

I must be using an old email address as I've written you twice about this (and a couple of more over the last few months) with no reply. I was starting to assume I was persona non grata. ;)
